The only reason I might not fully agree w/ your description is I worry that to frisbee players, the word "poaching" has specific connotations of 'getting in a passing lane to intercept a throw'. But in my mind, the ideas in this article are pointing at a somewhat more general concept of 'be in the right position'/'clog up the field'.
