Would it be more effective to throw this looping forehand or an inside backhand here? or even a looping outside backhand once the mark arrives? I figure the throw doesn't matter much but still, every 1% helps
The OI forehand and the IO backhand will both have (roughly) the same flight shape, so I'd say it mostly depends which throw the mark defender is letting you have.
If there's a "1% optimization", it's probably that with those two throws, the receiver is catching the disc looking forward and moving forward, so I'd prefer either of those over an OI around backhand b/c a receiver catches it looking backwards.
